Whether you want a full day's hiking or a gentle stroll, Walkingworld walks are the best that you can get. Each walk has easily followed instructions with a photograph for every decision point on the route, and a downloadable Ordnance Survey map. Most walks are on footpaths or tracks and the database includes many sections of the National Paths. Click on Home (above) for more details of Walkingworld.
Find a walk on a mapThese pages are something of an experiment. If you don't know an area well, a list of walks may not be as easy as showing them on a map. So that is what I set out to do. Please send any feedback you have.
Choose a country and then click on the small-scale map to see the walks in that area. You can scroll left or right, up or down by clicking on the arrow and zoom in or out. To avoid overlapping 'pins', walks that are close together may share a pin so the start point of some of the walks on that pin may not be exact. If there are too many pins for the map (or too many walks) then zoom in to get more detail. These pages work from a copy of the Walkingworld database so latest walks may not appear.
